Dr. Istvan Petak is an international expert in precision oncology and molecular pharmacology of targeted therapies with over 30 years of experience. He is the founder and CSO of Genomate Health, Inc. Cambridge, MA, co-founder of Oncompass Medicine, Budapest, HU, and adjunct professor at the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). He started his molecular pathology and signal transduction therapy career at Semmelweis University and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (Memphis, TN). His main achievements are exploring the role of apoptotic pathways in individual drug sensitivity, pioneering molecular companion diagnostics of the EGFR gene in 2003, and implementing NGS (next-generation sequencing) in precision oncology in 2008. He is the lead inventor of a novel computational method, published in 2021, for standardized, personalized treatment recommendations that has won numerous recognitions from organizations, including DIGITALEUROPE and ASCO.

Nabil Hafez, MSc, MBA, is a seasoned leader in precision medicine with 20+ years in genomics, diagnostics, and healthcare software. He led key efforts at the Broad Institute on the Human Genome Project and held leadership roles at PierianDx, Sunquest, Quest Diagnostics, and GenomeQuest. Nabil has successfully driven the global commercialization of NGS and precision oncology platforms.

Ioana Stupariu

Chief Administrative Officer & General Counsel

Ioana Stupariu, LLM leads legal, compliance, and operations at Genomate Health, bringing 15 years of experience in project management, tech regulation and regulatory compliance. She is an advisor for deep tech startups, served as DPO for a major automotive group, and is the founder of a boutique consulting firm serving CEE tech-driven companies to comply with regulatory requirements.

Peter Filotas

Chief Technology Officer

Peter Filotas brings 15 years of experience in software engineering, agile development, and biotech. At Genomate Health, he leads the development of proprietary computational reasoning technology, managing teams of developers and bioinformaticians. Formerly with Oncompass Medicine, Porsche Informatik, and iWiW, Peter has built and scaled high-load systems and mission-critical healthcare software platforms.

Attila Mezes leads finance at Genomate Health, bringing decades of experience in healthcare and investment. Known for his strategic vision, he has held leadership roles at Oncompass Medicine, PwC, KBC Securities, and more. Attila’s deep expertise in financial strategy and operations supports Genomate Health’s mission to expand access to precision oncology and drive sustainable growth in healthcare innovation.

Barbara Vodicska

Head of Translational Science

Barbara Vodicska, PhD, is a biochemical engineer with deep expertise in the molecular biology of cancer. She earned her PhD at the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ) in Heidelberg. At Genomate Health, she manages international grants and collaboration projects and leads R&D&I efforts, advancing computational reasoning solutions to optimize targeted therapy decisions in precision oncology.

Robert Doczi

Head of Research

Robert Doczi, PhD, is a molecular biologist with over 20 years’ experience in cellular signaling. At Genomate Health, he is involved in the development and clinical validation of a novel computational method that implements cognitive computing in precision oncology. Previously, he was a postdoctoral researcher at Vienna Biocenter (Austria), was a Marie Curie Fellow at Royal Holloway, University of London (UK), and was a principal investigator at the Hungarian Academy of Sciences.

Dora Lakatos

Dora Lakatos, PhD, leads computational science at Genomate Health, applying advanced modeling and machine learning to power the company’s precision oncology platform. With a PhD in biophysics, she brings deep expertise in biomedical data analysis, tumor biology, and quantitative modeling. Her work bridges computational insight with biological relevance to drive innovation in personalized cancer care.

Dora Tihanyi

Dora Tihanyi leads product development at Genomate Health, bringing a unique background in info-bionics. With a BSc in Molecular Bionics and an MSc in Info-Bionics Engineering, she previously held key roles at Oncompass Medicine, including Product Owner and Interpretation Team Leader. Her work ensures Genomate aligns with the needs of clinicians and patients in precision oncology.

Irving Levy is a seasoned financial leader with nearly 40 years of experience in healthcare, startups, and philanthropy. He played a key role in scaling Exigence Group to $120M, led its sale to TeamHealth, and now advises Genomate Health and early-stage ventures.
