Genomate Health Celebrates a Second GenomeWeb Best Places to Work Win

CAMBRIDGE, Mass., [Date], 2026 — Genomate Health has been named the winner in the 26–50 employee category of GenomeWeb’s 2026 Best Places to Work program. This marks the second consecutive year the precision oncology company has received the distinction.

‍

Much of Genomate’s work is measured through scientific findings, technology development, and its contribution to cancer treatment decisions. This recognition brings another part of that story into view: the people who make the work possible, and the environment they create for one another. Developing computational reasoning technology for precision oncology requires scientists, clinicians, engineers, and colleagues across the business to work through difficult questions together. It takes patience, a willingness to reconsider an idea, and confidence in the people working alongside you. Building a company where that collaboration can thrive is an ongoing responsibility.

‍

“An award like this makes you pause and appreciate the people behind the progress. Our team has helped Genomate move forward while also shaping what it feels like to work here. I’m grateful for both. Receiving this recognition again gives us a responsibility to keep listening and to protect the things our colleagues value as we grow.” said Nabil Hafez, CEO of Genomate Health.

‍

For Genomate Health, a meaningful mission and a rewarding workplace need to reinforce each other. The ambition to improve cancer care gives the work direction. Trust, flexibility, and opportunities to develop help people sustain that work and see a future for themselves within it. A strong culture also leaves room for people to influence how the company operates, with ideas and contributions that extend beyond their individual roles.

That matters as Genomate Health builds closer connections between its teams in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and Budapest, Hungary, following the acquisition of Oncompass Medicine. Bringing different perspectives and experience together creates opportunities to learn, and makes a shared, supportive working culture all the more valuable.

‍

“When we look at a scientific achievement, we often see the result and forget the many conversations that made it possible. Someone asked a question, someone brought a different perspective, and someone persisted when the answer was unclear. Those contributions are how we make progress. I’m proud to work with people who bring that commitment to our mission and to one another.” said Dr. Istvan Petak, Founder and Chief Scientific Officer of Genomate Health.

‍

This second consecutive award is a moment to thank everyone who has helped build Genomate Health. As the company looks ahead, creating a place where talented people can do meaningful work, learn from each other, and feel valued will remain central to its progress.
