New York, NY (Nov. 19, 2025) – Genomate Health was recognized in the 2025 Best Places to Work awards announced by GenomeWeb today.
"I founded Genomate to push the boundaries of what's possible in oncology, not just with technology, but through reasoning, collaboration, and curiosity. Every team member here shares the same goal: to bring precision and clarity to the most complex questions in cancer." said Founder and Chief Scientific Officer Istvan Petak.
GenomeWeb’s Best Places to Work honors workplaces within the life science research, diagnostics, and/or precision medicine market who have created cultures that attract talent and develop employees.
This annual program honors companies that are leading the way in fostering flexible, inclusive, and supportive work environments — whether it's through innovative policies, standout benefits, or a strong organizational culture.
“The companies named to this year’s Best Places to Work list demonstrate a commitment to building and maintaining a strong workplace culture,’’ said Bernadette Toner, GenomeWeb Executive Editor. “We’re pleased to recognize them as top workplaces driving innovation in life science research, diagnostics, and precision medicine.”
"At Genomate Health, we derive purpose from keeping the patient at the center of all we do," said CEO Nabil Hafez. "Our people are driven by the conviction that computational reasoning can change how cancer is understood and treated. Their intellect, curiosity, and willingness to challenge ideas with respect are what allow Genomate to thrive and propel our mission forward."
GenomeWeb partnered with Workforce Research Group, a research firm specializing in identifying great places to work, to conduct a two-part survey process of employers and their employees.
The first part consisted of evaluating each nominated company's workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems, and demographics. This part of the process was worth approximately 20 percent of the total evaluation. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. This part of the process was worth approximately 80 percent of the total evaluation. The combined scores determined the top companies.
